I set the remote start to "auto". If I start the truck with the key fob, The heated steer wheel works but the heated seat doesn't work. Does anyone have experience with this?

I have an oil change comin gup next week. I am going to ask about it. I also found out this morning that my adaptive cruise control wont work if one of the sensors has snow on it.

this is very common - happens with every car

it's also dangerous to use cruise when snow is on the ground....

I agree completely that it isnt a good idea to use ACC when there is snow on the ground. thats why I was surprised that it was disabled because there wasn't snow on the ground. it snowed a little bit overnight and some blew up on my grill, but by this morning the roads were clear and not slushy or anything . I was just surprised having never had ACC before.

I always remember the night before, when I get out of my truck to put it on.
And in the morning when I start my truck up early it works every time. Steering wheel and seat.
So if you turn the heated seats on before you shut the truck off it will be on with remote start? That sucks if it doesn't. Some electric cars do it to save on cabin heat power. Be nice to get into toasty seats on a cold morning.

Have you turned that setting on for the Heated Seats to come on when using remote start?

You can set it to always on. Mine comes on when I remote start and it was off when I left it. You don't want auto or last uses you want always on.

Under the seat and steering wheel setting, I have auto and off. I chose auto and only the steering wheel heat is on. The heating seat never comes on with remote start.

Lariat/Lux only selectable options for seat/steering wheel is auto/off- Neither works even when seats and wheel are selected on before previous shut off- Its making us push the start button when in the rig before it activates- Ok scratching a bald head at this point but does this have anything to do with how they re/programmed the builds HVAC's when they removed the dual zone climate read-out buttons ? Its cold out now and I would like to solve this mystery-
