Yeah my 2024 2.0L AWD is cool, It's a Lariat, that's even cooler to me.
Other cool things, It was In the show room, more coolness.
I bought It on 12/31/2024 and I did better IMO getting the 2024 over the 2025 for a few reasons.

Didn't like the 25's front end as much, It reminded me of a full electric vehicle just a little. The 25's 2.0L had its HP #'s cut with emission changes and the sticker price went up.
The 25's have a much larger screen sitting in the middle of the dash board, I didn't like that.
So more coolness that I landed a 24 model.
Got $1500 off the sticker, they said It was because I served, more coolness.
The Hot Pepper Red was pretty cool In my eyes, Didn't mind paying extra for that, It's cool.
The 121 Inch wheel base rides worlds better than my 2021 Bronco sport with its 105 Inch wheel base, yeah that's cool. I dig the added stability at high speed. Yep that's kinda ,,,, wait for it,,,
Cool.
Lots and Lots of coolness as far as I'm concerned.

BUT !
The single coolest thing Is something I think both years have and that's the console menu option to watch the AWD system work.
4 Graphs, one for each wheel. I have very steep gravel roads up to my cabin.
I start up in low and the front two wheels just cross the 30% power level with the back end getting into the game by pushing at the 10% level. There Is a section that steepens mid climb.
On this one section the front climbs to 50% power and the back gets up to 30% on the power meter.
I'm holding throttle at 1900 rpm or so then I step into the loose section.
Rpm's increase to 2100 as I give it a smidge more throttle and front end power moves up to 60% with the rear end pushing 50%. All the time with traction control still on, I've yet to encounter surface conditions that would warrant turning that off.
Yeah It Is kind of an Intelligent AWD as the front end gets more power with the motor sitting there pushing the tires down. Factory Michelins, slick as a babies behind are doing just fine on my gravel, But I must admit we are not dry, the damp is the glue that holds the gravel steady.
All Four tires getting just what they need. I go effortlessly up.
This Escape/Bronco Sport/ Maverick chassis feels very strong and rigid, more than I thought it would.
Yeah, This Maverick Is pretty dang cool I tell ya.
Just sayin.

FWIW, that’s a 2004 Escape with a quarter million miles on it behind my Maverick.
it’s my bad weather car.
The AC still blows cold, the V-6 won’t get out if its own way but it’s cheap to keep.

I agree Cherokee COOL. I have 2024 XLT FX4 4K. Traded in my 2021 Bronco Sport. The only thing I miss is being able to make a u-turn in front of the house. I have the side mirrors with the convex mirror in the upper outside corners. I prefer them to the blis mirrors. Maverick drives better. The screens that show power to the wheels and tilt and inclination are cool. Good looking truck Cherokee.

Wow, a coincidence!
My 2021 Bronco Sport Base model In Bkack was the first one in Cherokee County. Got it in December 2020.
I enjoyed celebrity status for almost two months until a few more showed up.
I wanted the Maverick but they were not yet available.
The BS base was a nice vehicle.

Huh, didn't know there was a display like that. How do you get to it?
Part of the FX4 package along with the larger screen of the Lariat.

The 2005 Escape I had had both rear brake hoses fail, they seemed to be stretched a bit tight. Have you had to replace yours?

I bought It for $1,000 six years ago with 193,000 miles on the clock. It had all kinds of stuff done in it's past. I found nothing about brake hoses. It's fine now. I've put 33,000 miles on it since i got it six year ago. All I've done other than regular annual 'PM's' and tires and wiper blades is,
A Battery, Interstate.
One Coil pack,
Two motor mounts,
A complete brake job,
Two inner tie rods,
And this spring I'll do the two outer tie rods, they are a little sloppy.
It is one of the cheapest to maintain vehicles I've ever owned partly because the previous owner had to repair lots of stuff.
A/C still blow cold.
