I think about my January order almost every day and I must say hope feels foolish at this point.

If Ford would ever just say how many orders there are and how many remain unscheduled, my guess is all of us still waiting would 🤮!

Bottom line: my truck ain't coming. Yours probably isn't either. At least not anytime soon.
You’re at the 6 month mark. That’s about how long it took to get mine. No need to tell others their order “probably” isn’t coming.

VB XLT Hybrid with Lux and 360 ordered July 16, 2021. Have had VIN for 3 months. Tracker states build 05/31/22 and " your Maverick is build and waiting to be shipped". Just got email from Ford stating expected delivery date moved from 6-12 July to 24-30 July. I ordered the hard roll up tonneau cover from Ford to get the 20% off. It came in 3 days so plenty on hand. I have a bed cover but no bed to cover. Staying patient.

It's accurate to say the average order holder won't see a truck "anytime soon," which is what I said in my original post. Of course, that's not exactly a news flash...

So I woke up this morning and decided to hammer a nail into my eye again. Called, nice girl answered with the same pathetic in order processing statement. No build date and no vin.Just a base hybrid xl order from October. Only option is a drop in bedliner. I can’t defend Ford anymore. Every month, more miles on my Colorado and less I will get for my trade in. Spending $400 a month in gas just for work commutes.Have to go through inspection in September which will likely mean more money for something. Something is really wrong when those who ordered in December and January already have build dates or even worse, already have had deliveries. If Chevy or Dodge had a hybrid for $20,000, I would buy it today. Ford could have sold a gazillion of these and instead, they have delivered less than 50,000, and pushed everyone else into buying something else in the new or used car market. The idiots like myself are still holding on, but will always remember how Ford blew a huge opportunity.

My 6/10/2021 order was built 6/18/2022. 373 days of waiting, now if it just gets here.
Wow, mine was ordered June 9th and I got it in March. Lariat, hybrid, First Edition in rapid red. It was well worth the wait for me. I love my little truck.

My December XLT EB FX4 is scheduled for next week build so don't give up hope... Unless you ordered a hybrid, it's not coming this year my friend.
and ford says they are doing oldest orders first. My November xlt eb still has no build date.

I have no options other than FX4 and full size spare. Do you have Lux, SIBL or CP360?

I ordered my Lariat AWD November 13th, 2021. It was shown as built on June 16th and has been shipped to the dealership in Iowa. Current arrival date is estimated to be July 21st.

Ford is all over the map about what it says is being built. I ordered my hybrid Lariat exactly one year ago today, June 24. I was told I'd probably have it 1Q 2022. That came and went. Build showed June 1 with expected ETA of early July. They've pushed out the ETA four times with the current delivery date of July 26 - Aug 1. I don't believe it. I've decided to start vehicle shopping for a different truck or SUV. I do want the Maverick, but I think it best not to hold on to that dream. Should it arrive before I make a different purchase, I'll decide then if I want it or if I prefer to let the dealer mark it up to sell it to someone else. I'm simply fed up with the process.

My only emails from Ford have been to confirm my order (25 Oct, 21), a build date, and two changes to the build date (last changed to 6 Jun 22). No other information via email. Once I could "track" my order on Ford's website, I kept checking. Finally a VIN was available on June 6, and the implication that it would be built within the next few days. Crickets for 14 business days. My dealer was able to get the info that it was actually built, but waiting for the SIBL. Today the website updated that it is built and waiting shipment.

I never got rid of any of the things that were said to slow your build. EB Lariat Lux, 4k tow, Copilot, Engine block heater. Some of the constraints might finally have eased a bit.

UPDATE: Yesterday (June 24) I got a "built" email, and this morning I got a "shipped" email.

I just don’t get that, I ordered mine on 6/22/21, loaded Hybrid, and I’ve had it since January.

I'd say he is at least at the 9 month mark. Scheduling is 2 months out plus a month for delivery. You got lucky with getting yours in 6 months, lots of folks are already looking at a year plus. Soon 18 months won't be unheard of. Model year rollover notices coming soon will show a crap ton of unbuilt 22s.
