I used Jimbo's Tough as Shell. It is a spray on ceramic coat. Easy to apply. Washed and clay-bared first. goes on everything, metal, plastic and glass. Easy and no issues.

What brand have you found to be the best wax to use on your Maverick
Does not necessarily need to be ceramic and can be as basic as Turtle wax cream
but preferably no spray on stuff
But let the replies commence!
I've used meguires paste wax on all my vehicles for the past 20 years. Wax once a year, every spring for less than 2 bucks per application and it's always worked great!

^^^^^ Yes, at last, another Collonite user here. Good stuff. Search for Collonite #845 Insulator Wax.
+1 I leave the bottle in the sun after shaking to warm it up and re shake it the apply. SOOO easy to apply and remove....Car not in sun BTW.

I've been impressed with Cerakote Rapid Ceramic Paint Sealant. It does take some elbow grease to buff it in, and like a wax it shouldn't be applied in sunshine or on hot paint. The end result is slick and shiny, and it seems to have good staying power between applications.
I use this stuff also and find nothing sticks to it, I did my truck 2x last summer and water and dirt just fly off my carb grey truck looks clean all the time, easy on and off takes me 45 min to do hole truck without working hard. I did the glass also. WORKS GREAT. Still have enough to put another coat, small bottle goes a long way. Think it was about 18 bucks was well worth it, much better and 10x easier than paste wax.

For me after trying many different waxes and sprays over the years I have gone back to Maguires cleaner wax. It is simple to put on and take off. A lot if not most of the ceramic spray
stuff is a pain to take off... Then use Maguires ultimate quick detailer to shine it up fast during the week or whenever. The only other spray I like is Turtle wax seal an shine.

I've found the Meguiars
ceramic spray goes on super easy and lasts a long time.

Just gave it a 3rd coat in 2 years, Its raining very hard today looking out the window water is just rolling of the vehicle, haven't washed it in weeks no dirt or water spots. Am a fan.
