Temporary blank Sync Touchscreen

I have a 2024 Hybrid Lariat purchased in March. There are approximately 4800 miles driven. Yesterday afternoon my Sync Touchscreen was completely black for a couple of short trips. That was very annoying. Later the screen display did work. How concerned should I be? Will this likely recur and should I have the Dealer investigate?

I'm baffled as to why it didn't display at all and then all the sudden work again. BTW I live in Austin. Is heat a potential factor?

No idea to be honest, luckily I haven't had any issues, but I did find a few things you may want to try. Good Luck in getting it resolved.

Sadly I want to say it's normal of the horrible infotainment system in the 24 in prior Mavericks. My 24XLT has not went blank but frozen up the screen multiple times where the radio or Pandora would be playing but you couldn't change stations or do anything else.

I had to wait till I reach my destination and got back in to restart the truck in order to get the head unit working again properly.

I have no idea if sync 4 is any better in the lariat's or the 25 model trucks as I don't have it.

Just wait till Ford comes out with their new in vehicle advertising as well as their late night vehicle monitoring/driving mode. It should be a big hit with Ford owners when it does come to fruttation

It just happened to me. Only lasted about 30 seconds.

Radio was playing. Noticed I couldn't change channels. It was frozen. Then completely black for 30 seconds. Came back fine.

ETA: Mine is a 2022 XLT LUX with 14,000 miles
