Sync/screen issues -- blank screen / does not turn on

Every time I get in my Maverick for the past week, the screen does not turn on. Music plays, or if my phone is plugged in Apple CarPlay starts, but nothing appears on the screen. I have to do the soft reset (holding down the volume and forward buttons at the same time for a few seconds) for the screen to reset, after which it works fine.

I’ve ensured the system is updated. Anyone having a similar issue or suggestions for a fix?

My backup camera didn’t come on. Just once, last week…

Just happened to me. 2023 hybrid xlt.
Ford Audio, Software Ver:
G2.1.0.1_R22362A

Same symptoms, music still plays. Interestingly, I get the nice Ford Blue Oval at startup (key on) and shutdown (key off, out)... but blank otherwise.


+edit: Just tried it again and the screen worked fine(?). In the mean time, I see there may be a 'reset' procedure? so I'll try this if it happens again.

This happened to me today as well, 2023 Ecoboost XL. Got the turn signal recall update a couple weeks ago, had no issues after that...but then had it parked the past week, took it out of the garage today and voila no radio screen after the Ford logo on bootup. However today it cleared after locking the car and waiting about a half hour - got back in and the screen was working again. I have done the Volume+Skip Forward fix once before too. This is my first vehicle that seems to need a reboot every so often, lol. Still love the truck though.
