instrument cluster went blank

My instrument cluster just went blank. Ive had my hybrid 2 days and everything was great. Today it was working fine, so I stop at Tractor Supply and when I come out to start my truck my cluster is blank. Anyone have any ideas why. Maybe blown fuse.No one at dealership today.
Cant even tell my speed or nothing .

Someone else reported something similar a few weeks ago, but never heard back from them on whether it got fixed or not. It's likely that the backlight went bad if it's dead.

If it's dead this wont help, but if all that's happened is that you accidentally turned it off, try adjusting the instrument cluster brightness with the two small buttons (+/-) beside the controls for the headlights.

nevermind. Once it stopped raining. I removed the fuse in the body control fuse block and put it back in and now its working.

Was it loose? 2nd day I had mine someone cut over on me and had to stab the breaks. They still haven't seen me. Any way the digital lights went of. Analog lights for speedometer, tach still one.

When I first checked the fuse I just pushed on it a little. That didn’t help. So I removed it to see if it was blown, which it wasn’t. So I just put it back in and it starting working again. So who knows what happen.

Sounds like removing the fuse power cycled & rebooted the cluster

No it’s working now. I removed the cluster and put it back in and everything is working. Thank you

I just had the same thing happen. Pulled the fuse, put it back in and it’s working now. Look in the manual for which fuse to pull. I think it was number 22.

Thank you for that idea. My instrument cluster went blank out of the blue today while driving. When it happened I thought this is a huge bummer. I’m going to have to go to the dealership to get this fixed and it my main transportation to work, definitely was frustrating.

I I was able to search on the forum and found your fix idea and tried and now it’s back up and running. Thanks again Maverick Truck Club

I had this happen to me last week.
Below the glove compartment is the fuse box.
I pulled fuse 22 (7.5A) and put it back in, everything has been working fine since then.

Cars today are like a very poorly designed computer. Reboots are often necessary.

I just had this happen to my 3 month old truck. Pulling fuse 22 fixed this issue for me as well. Thanks for the fix forum!
