Tailgate light bar concerns / questions

Looking for help with installing a tailgate light bar has anyone done this and what type did you use my concerns are having access to the spare tire and trouble maybe with the wiring running up to the tailgate if it interferes with the light bar.

I installed a Putco light bar using the Curt wiring harness, running cable to battery under the back seat (hybrid). I attached it with strong magnets I purchased on Amazon. It does cover the spare tire hole but should be "easily" pulled down if I need to access the tire. It has been in place for 1.5 years with no issues. The light bar does sit a bit high so that I could get solid metal contact. Overall, I've been quite happy with this set up.

Here are the links you requested. Very straight forward. The Curt wiring harness lets you "get power" from a 4-pin connector so you don't use the Maverick 4-pin connector on the hitch. If you do use the installed Mav 4 pin connector, the truck thinks you've attached a trailer. Hope that makes sense. There may be something out now that is more "plug and play"...not sure since I did mine a couple years ago on my 2023.

Steve, did you tap into a reverse light circuit for the light bar?

I believe so...but it's been a while. If I remember correctly I took it up to an automotive wiring place nearby and they helped me find the correct wire to tap in to.
