So I take a load of yard debris to the dump, and sweep out the bed when I'm done. That's when I notice this giant access hole in the bottom of the tailgate that is collecting all the debris I was trying to sweep out. How have you solved this issue?

I don't remember seeing this on my 23? I had a drop in Bedliner installed so I can't look,which would solve the problem by the way.

The drop in bed liner wraps around to the underside of the tailgate??

Maybe some kind of hinged plug? Covers when tailgate is down and flops open when tailgate is up to allow moisture to escape?

The joke wasn’t supposed to be crude, the the OP @atomguy245 said he took a load to the dump. @son of a ..sven said it sounded like the tailgate hole was a band name, to which @FriscoTXJoe joe said it was opening for tool, as in the band tool and you could get tools in through the hole. But since the original post mentioned a dump run, I thought the band Garbage would have been a better choice because garbage was getting into the hole in the tailgate. I apologize for unintentionally making a crude joke, but I still don’t understand how it is crude. And @FriscoTXJoe I was not trying to be offensive, but build on the pun I thought you were making.

I don’t know why you are attacking me, as I am not the one that said tool initially. But it is common to say that a band opens for another. There was no innuendo intended and claiming that was my intention is just false.
