I would not install anything that isn't directly from Ford. There was a link above and if you're logged in to Ford's website and enter your VIN, you should always get a link to download the latest Sync3, even if it is up to date. That's been my experience at least.I found the 3.4.23188 file thru a website called Cyanlabs. They have software a person can download to their computer that allows them to download the 3.4.23188 file, place on a USB stick and download to the vehicle.

My concern is Ford says my Sync 3 is up to date and doesn't offer me this updated file. Going this other route seems confusing (atleast to me) and possibly problem causing if done wrong.
I don't have any current Sync 3 issues, so I'm going to leave it alone for now. Had I issues, or Ford offered the file thru their site for some feature enhancement, or even just to stay updated, I'd do it.
Somebody more computer suave than I may be comfortable going the Cyanlabs route, though?
