Sync 3 Owners: Does your audio skip like a CD?

Several owners with Sync 3 are having issues with the audio skipping.
I figured I'd throw a poll up to see just how many are having issues.

This video showcases the issue.

100% Spotify connected wireless AA through a dongle, unless I need to charge my phone, and then I'm wired. I use the factory '22 B&O amp with a sub amp connected to the 6x9 sub speaker output.

it does it less than once a song, but at least once per trip. I can't determine any pattern or causation.

I would be curious to know the details of the people voting no issues. factory amp y/n, AA or car play, etc.

Lariat no B&O but mine "skips" bluetooth Android Auto every now and again.

Same here , didn't vote though as I have a lariat Tremor without sync 3 or B&o just standard cheapie.
So weird it just started about 2 weeks ago too.
Maybe someone should start another poll or add that as an option for standard stereo’s

Mine skips occasionally (probably every couple songs at least) when I'm streaming music over Bluetooth. I can't say that I have noticed it skip during a podcast, but it may have and just not be noticeable like it is on a song I've listened to to 1000 times. I've never noticed it skip while on FM, and I don't use satellite or android auto so I can't comment on those two.

Mine changes channel or turns off when I hit a bump or pothole, am afraid to tell dealer don't want them driving around hitting potholes or curbs to verify and they will.

My Lariat has done this since day one, wire connected through Android Auto. This behavior does not occur on my other vehicles, also connected through Android Auto. It's annoying but doesn't happen enough for me to visit the dealer.

Poll results have made it clear that this isn't an isolated issue, and based on your comments many of you aren't bothered enough by it to make a dealer trip out of it. The call I received from my dealer today said that issues with warranty rates below 7-10% are basically ignored by Ford. While there's definitely some sample bias involved well more than 10% of trucks are impacted by this.

@Ford Motor Company can/will an SSM be put out for this issue with an ETA on a fix like you did with the dash rattles in SSM 52431? This is a widespread issue with Sync 3-equipped Mavericks and can't be ignored.

Just confirming in this thread as well that my '24 Lariat has also done this since day 1. I primarily use bluetooth audio only. @Ford Motor Company , does giving you my VIN in this forum add on to those complaint rates that CaptBanana is referring to? If so, maybe I'll actually do that to try to make something happen here.

mine seems worse of late. no changes to the truck of course, so that would put towards an issue with something on my android smartphone changing.

Yes, this issue impacts CarPlay, Bluetooth, Android Auto, and playing off a USB. If your truck skips on one, I’d expect it to skip for all.
