Sunroof option takers... how to mitigate risk of leaking

I'm with ya on the headroom, but what is this about noise and heat levels? Does it really impact that much?

Notice a difference in wind noise if I have the headliner slider part open and the glass closed. And I definitely notice a difference in temperature here in Florida
