I bought a set for my 22 and out them on during the winter months
Still have them for the 25 to do the same
Sucks that the sensors won’t work though 🤬

If they were just painted silver that might be ok, but that sparkle silver looks like you’re trying too hard,

I keep my steelies and put one on for a spare after removing the doughnut. Enjoying my new rims.

Steelies and no don’t wrapped wheel is the reason I’d never consider an XL
I’m the opposite I would never buy an xlt. I think the ford rims are terrible. And the price over the xl I save I get the rims I want and the tires I want. Plus extra left for other stuff like tint.

I agree on skipping the XLT. I went up to Lariat.

I like steelies. I would have bought an XL except back when I ordered, cruise control was not available, and the information needed to install it was not available. So, XLT it was. I don't like the wheels on the 22 XLT that much that I would have paid extra for them, but they are what they are. I would have traded off the orange accents too.
I guess the two things I like most about an XLT are the power mirrors and ... never mind, cannot remember the 2nd. Cruise, I guess.

LOL

Fugly eye patches on the headlights and no physical HVAC controls are reasons I'd never consider trading my '23 XL for a '25 XL.
Neat. Glad we both have something we enjoy.

I do not know if this still holds true, but, traditionally, the steelies will allow faster tire wear, and are harder to keep in balance. Most custom wheels are a precision spin casting. They just perform better.

personally i like the look of the steelies.. vintage.
Steel wheels were a sign of poverty on vintage and antique cars. Trust me, when I say this, nobody fondly remembers steel wheels.

Best Regards

I got XLT takeoff alloy rims from an MTC member and stored the original steelies under my front porch. You never know if you may need them.
