Unfortunately I think your expectations are too low. No vehicle no matter its price should have a windshield that squeaks/ticks. I’ve owned several Ford vehicles in the past and fit and finish has been excellent. The Maverick finish is good…fit is terrible. I’ve had 3 failed window seals, loose strut mount and loose wiring inside door. Now I have a windshield tick. Some may say turn the volume up, that’s not my style. I forked over my hard earned money and I expect Ford to do the same through warranty payment and make it right if they can’t build a vehicle properly. My Dealer has been great to work with and taken all issues seriously and resolved then first attempt. Windshield is on the list in early December when parts come in for last window seal. Besides these items the truck has been great and meets all my needs. Patients is definitely being tested. If you had spent $150K you could still have squeaks. The general public has a really weird and often misguided sense of what they should be getting in terms of quality. Aside from that acoustic glass you bought a $20K car. You need to remember this every time you drive that truck. Have they not been able to fix it because it had not been duplicated? Or have they been making repeated repair attempts. Details matter A LOT in these conversations.
