Noticed the same thing with my truck the other week….mine is about 1.5 years old. I wiped it down with Mequiers interior cleaner and looks new now. Only thing I can think of is I recently had the air bag recall done. Thought that was only curtain air bags but maybe steering wheel as well?

For what’s it worth I live in Midwest and have about 18k miles on these tires.. They’ve perform decent in wet, dry, icy and snowy conditions. I would rate them as average. What I’m not impressed with is wear. As I said I have 18k…have 5/32 left and am contemplating putting new tires on before...

Hybrid or AWD they all click. It’s all the power relays…procedure to power ECMs up and down. To save battery but keep the vehicle in the state of ready for remote start etc. Now I have no clue why Ford vehicles are so loud…my Toyota and Honda have never sounded like an orchestra in my garage 😂

I had a glass company do it…as they had just installed a new OEM windshield and ticking was worse. I imagine a Dealer would do it if Ford told them too or had a procedure to follow. The dealer get squirmy with glass.

I got my ticking resolved by having the plastic alignment pieces at the right/left top corner of the windshield removed. These can be accessed by removing the a-pillar and pulling the headliner back.

Same here…airbag recall was an absolute disaster. Made me more distrusting of the ford brand and their dealer network.

For what it’s worth…mine does the same thing and I was told it was normal as well. I don’t get it either. Be prepared for other head scratching things with your Maverick…ie. Check your center console. Mine came with felt on it from the factory to keep to quiet.

I have the exact same issue with my Maverick…seems to be dependent upon how warm the glass gets. Sunny day no issues. Colder day no sun it squeaks. I’ve brought into the dealership twice. Neither time they have done anything for me. It’s very frustrating.
