Damn dude you cant catch a break. Take it back to get that scratch fixed for sure.
Yeah, 2nd week i had it, i had to take it in because the trailer brake module is acting weird, truck was there fir a week and the issue is still unresolved... then the bed liner now this.... i'm not mad at the dealer because the trailer brake issue is a ford canada wide issue and the bedliner wasnt done ny the dealer either... i'm just really glad that they are taking me seriously!

Here is where it seperated. IT is plastic and was attached with some double sided tape.

It's not molded in? I thought it was one continuous piece. Maybe I am confused.

Pretty sure its a fresh truck as it went in fabrication when i ordered it and also, i'm pretty sure its too deep for a buff but i think a partial paint correction would do the trick as it only seems to have affected the clear or paint surface, used to do these alot! Amd yeah, i used to have a 90 toyota pickup and i had it fully lined and it ws the nicest thing i had done to it!.... it was also keeping.most.of the panels together as it was really rusted out xD

Nope, it's a piece of plastic/abs that was stuck on by tape. Or at least that is how mine is....

Hard to tell in your photos, but what is behind it? Spray in liner or paint?

Paint, then the tape, plastic logo and then the bedliner.

Well that's dumb. That means if the Ford logo "breaks" off then paint is behind it. Interesting to see how they fix that.

Lack of adhesion, surface prep problem? Mine is very soft as well and is malleable as well, mine got scratched as well with wood pallet. That tailgate needs help, i was able to 'rub out' some of the gouges with fingers.
As time goes by the solvents are baked out and it solidifies more over time.

Hang on a second... apologies for going off topic for a moment but am I seeing... um... do the covers of the wheel wells inside the flexbed happen to rise to the same height as that pallet on a fully flat tailgate? It sure looks like whatever you're hauling there is riding partially on the pallet and partially on the wheel well covers.

Curious if you've had this repaired by Ford/dealer. How did that turn out?

Hey guys! Just wanted to see if any of you had the same issue...
Had my maverick for 3 weeks now (2 weeks actually cause it spent a week at the dealer for a still unresolved issue)
Hauled a traffic light last night (made out of plastic and fiber glass) and when i pulled it out, the liner got damaged at 3 spots, checked under the light and there were no hard edges and i can see the beds paint now.... kinda dissapointed, my 2500 chev with linex took way more abuse and i still cant see the paint in the bed.
