I gather this recall only affects those vehicles that had the factory SIBL, correct?

Yes and it was only for the first few months of production. Though when I had the dealer do my sibl I told them to make sure they don’t drill to far on the drain holes.

Thanks! i will make sure if I get an aftermarket SIBL, i will insist that they use plugs and bolts so they won't HAVE to use ANY drill!

If you don't know what's on the other side, why TF would you stick the drill in all the
anyhow? Only because they're hacks, stupid, or ignorant.
