Not surprised that the spray in liners are less durable than the drop in liners. I had the thicker liner on our stolen tacoma. Fine shape after 21 years. We hauled all sorts of heavy and abrasive things in it. Including soil which had to be unloaded with a shovel. Drop in will be my option for a Maverick.

That is not normal.

My Tundra is 18 years old with a LineX SIBL since new. It has hauled everything from lumber to rocks to metal ramps and there are zero scratches or gouges like your pictures (much less peeling).

The cost of Line-X SIBL in my area is $499 (add $100 for UV protection sku) so I will definitely be removing the SIBL option from my MY23 order given and going Line-X route...

I wish the OP would clear up WHO did the SIBL. I have the factory SIBL and it is very thick and tough as nails. I have no issues with it either.

It seems like one post suggested that it wasn't the factory. Irresponsible post, if so. OP, edit your title and first post if this is the case.

The back of mine where the ford logo is, broke. The logo literally popped off with the liner.
I'll try and post a picture of it later today.

So i talked

I always loved plastic liners because they are rugged and easilly serviceable but what i've learned from being a truck tech for 10 years is that unless you get your truck bed completely rust proofed inside or lined, these things rub, damage the paint then trap moisture under and rot truck beds....
No problem here. I consider the spray in liner a pretty good rust proofing. I added the bed and tailgate liner because spray in bedliners can be easily damaged with metal or dragging heavy objects.

Curious to know how tightly the bed tray liner fit against the sides of the truck bed. Did you install over a SIBL or over a painted bed?
installed over SIBL. The spray in is less than an 1/8 inch thick. The bed and tailgate tray fit easily. The bed tray also has holes for the bed hooks.

Thanks for the info. I intend to install the bed and tailgate tray/liner over a SIBL whenever I receive our truck. I was a bit concerned that I might have to trim the bed tray somewhat to fit.

So.... got it completely re done! I was happy till i noticed that they scratched the paint on my less than 1500 km truck.... i might be over reacting but i've been detailing high end cars for years and that just downright drive me nuts. Bringing my truck back in next week so they an fix the scratches.
