Unfortunately, it IS a thing now.Is this to stop the spare tire from being stolen?
Is that a thing now?
Wow. Is nothing sacred anymore? Not even a cheap spare tire. Grandma is right, if it isn’t tied down….
The junkies will steal anything. We recently moved our office but still had access to the old building because there was some stuff left there. It was in a big old house and there was nobody else in there. A junky broke in, stole all the copper and was actually living in the house sleeping on an old couch when someone from our office went back in and caught him.Wow. Is nothing sacred anymore? Happened to me many years ago... Many years ago. 76 Chev stepside.I just received this Spare Tire Lock from Amazon. It took me about 2 minutes to install. The cable seems very well made and hopefully can prevent theft of the tire.

Disagree about "the world is a better place." as he has plenty of 'brothers' remaining. The junkies will steal anything. It takes a unique combination of desperation and stupidity to do what he did. Now he's facing some hard time and the world is a better place.
