In August 2023, I added the Trimax wheel lock (amazon, recommended several times here) to my spare tire.
It claims to be weather-resistant. I'm in Canada -- perhaps "weather-resistant" and "winter resistant" aren't the same thing...
This morning I am sitting at the dealership with a flat tire. Tire is not in stock, so they are putting the spare on while they order it in. 4 different people in the shop couldn't get my key to fit into the lock so I asked to have a go at it -- the lock seems to have rusted and the key won't fit in at all... They are cutting it off, which means I'm in the market for a new spare tire lock.
Any recommendations?
