In a Faraday box inside my house.
Not hiding it; that's just where I keep all my vehicle fobs.

Steve
I'm more worried about being locked out while traveling...not at home.

Get a locksmith to make you a metal fob-less key. Also known as a test key. They fit in a magnetic Hide-a-Key box. Of course this will not start the truck, but it'll let you get back in if you accidentally lock the fob key in the truck.

I opened the tailgate and stuck the box at the base of the tailgate down out of view.

I hid a door only key wired to a frame hole (I know no frame) on the drivers side. Used copper wire and not easily seen

I’ve got the perfect place! But I’m not telling where it is!

Do you REALLY think that it is a good idea to post your "hiding place" on a public forum? Maybe you hybrid owners could tape an extra key to the much loved starter battery and cross your fingers. Sorry, just how the thought process goes before the second cup of coffee.... "Make it a good day!"

If tou are concerned about being locked out you could either use the app to unlock it or buy the wireless keypad. But it’s pretty difficult to lock the doors with the keys inside.

Anyone have a unique hiding spot for spare key fob?
I carry my keys in my right hand pocket. I have always carried a spare set of keys in my left hand pocket......about as secure as I can get.
