Key Fob

In the scheme of important things, especially out here in So. CA, I wonder if anyone has found a replacement Key Fob for the Lariat Maverick that is not so big. I love my 2023 Lariat, and I love the fact it has the keyless operation, but the standard Fob size is bulky in my pocket.

That key fob is huge. My Honda Accord was 1/2 the size.

How / where is emergency key placed/used to manually START 2024 Mav Lariat FWD Hybrid when FOB portion is not working or is lost?
Is there a hidden emergency key slot somewhere?

NOT that I could find, an issue Ford never thot about...I can get into the vehicle but no way to start it...NOT a good emergency key when you can't start the vehicle with it in an emergency!

If you lose your key fob it's just like losing your key it's gone you're not going to start your truck without a fob.

What I'm going to try and help you with is if your key fobs battery is dead.
Go to your truck open your center console clean everything out if there's a liner that has to come out to and please take a picture of what you see.

To start a Ford Maverick Lariat with the emergency key, you need to access the dedicated key slot usually located inside the center console, insert the emergency key blade from your key fob, put your foot on the brake pedal, and then press the start/stop button to start the vehicle; essentially bypassing the keyless entry functionality when your primary key fob battery is dead or not detected.
It should look like this when the felt liner is picked up.
