Did you paint the rims to match the vehicle? And yes, for those who have never had A&W root beer from an actual A&W root beer establishment, you missed a darn good root beer. Not the trash you can buy today in the can.

The car was a 49 Chevy painted Cadillac champagne gold and the rims were flat black.
The root beer was great. But I think they cheated us with the hollow bottom glasses.

49 chevy is always a show stopper at car shows! And yes, the hollow bottom glasses did give them money, but they came chilled. Man, this is making me thirsty!!

As for aftermarket wheels, nothing looks better than a 5 star mag type wheel in chrome.

This is the first vehicle that I have owned, that I put black wheels on. Being owed to the fact there is no chrome on this truck.
