I just changed the oil and noticed that the A/C line near the engine has some water/condensation on it and feels cold to the touch. Is this normal, or could it indicate a problem? So far, the A/C inside the cabin is blowing cold air and seems to be working normally.
My vehicle is a 2025 Ford Maverick XL AWD with the 2.5L Hybrid powertrain.
Thanks!

Yup! If it didn't have that condensation while running, then you'd have a problem somewhere in the system.

I don't have condensation on mine.😲
In the last 30 years none of my vehicles have dripped condensation from the bottom

I should clarify this a little more actually. Depends on atmospheric conditions for the condensation. The refrigerant going through that low pressure line is give-or-take about 40-45 F. If you live in a climate where your dew points never exceed that (desert SW, higher elevations, etc), then you won't see condensation. I live in the Great Lakes where dew points from May to October are always 50+ F, so it's normal here to see condensation on the low pressure side.
