Nothing like a Toyota...except that it doesn't overlap the Maverick use case in any way. We all wanted a pickup for many reasons. If you didn't need one, you wasted your time and money. Hopefully you can stick with a car for 5-10 years and get some use out of it. Meanwhile, that car would be an unacceptable trade for MTC members. Good luck with the C-HR EV. I never would have heard of it otherwise.

FYI, my truck has 50,445 miles on it.
I thought I needed the "truck" the Maverick clearly provides. However, I never used it for that. So, I totally agree that there is no comparison between the two vehicles.

One more thing. I am almost 78 years old and not having Dynamic Cruise control and taking my eyes off the road, is not a smart thing for me to do. So, age had a material impact on my decision.

You do know that u dont always have the same channels ur used to, especially if you travel, right?

We couldnt dare have....a KNOB for this! How Archaic! Blasphemous! You MUST paw the ipad like a child in a moving 2 ton vehicle!
Twisting a knob searching for radio stations is old school fun. Makes a cool sound if you spin fast. However, the radio station search button on the steering wheel is safer & easier.

Keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel.

Nice truck. I did not do my homework right and got the XLT rather than the higher trim for dynamic cruise control. Also could not get past having to take my eyes off the road to change radio channels. The Maverick itself was decent, but it is nothing like a Toyota. Decided to wade into unknown territory and bought the 2026 C-HR (electric EV) XSE. For fun I floored it with wife inside and she said she almost threw up (4.3 secs). Too soon to tell if it is a keeper.

FYI, my truck had 3035 miles on it.
don't floor it all the time - the torque will make the tires wear considerably quicker.

I've found the lack of a stereo knob on my 25 XLT to be a non-issue. It's always present on the screen. Other non-issues I have found but was worried about after reading some posts on here - auto headlights are amazing. I've had my truck for about 1.5 years and have yet to be bright lighted. The XLT stereo system is definitely not as bad as folks on here have stated in my opinion. Maybe it's the Synch 4 delivering more power than the 22-24 model years?

No, but you can activate the scan/search function to search for radio stations when you are away from home thru the steering wheel controls.
