Really? My 3/4"-13/16" flip socket fits perfectly. IMO, 21mm is too loose, and could cause more damage to the 2-piece OEM lugnuts.

Exactly the case with every Toyota I've done work on that takes a 21 mm.
Except for a recent one where an impact wrench with likely bigger socket rounded the edges, and prevented 13/16 or 21 from fitting.

Nice setup, that would allow assisting others easily.

I've never had a problem using a four-way lug wrench.
unfortunately, I have. the 4-cross ends are really beefy, and they don't fit some wheels.

I have seen folks talk about leaving a cordless impact in the truck, but any of them rated high enough to reliably remove lug nuts torqued to 120 foot-pounds seem kinda pricey to just leave in the truck all the time. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the info. I'll give the M12 a try as I do break the lugs loose by hand, then use the impact to speed things up.
The M12 Stubby(M12 2563-20) should be able to handle it pretty easy with more breaking power than the older version, but you do need to use the 5.0A High Output battery.

I have the older version of the M12 Stubby, and have been using it to break loose the lug nuts for the Maverick, but it struggles some before breaking them loose with the 6.0A XC battery.

My take here is if you want to automate, get something to run the scissor jack & tire cable with. Lug nuts were easy, jacking the truck up and down & getting the tire down was not.
If you are going to work on your car, I highly suggest getting a floor jack for it and only use the scissor jack in emergency situations.

148ft-lbs for the Mav and F150, not 120.

With getting the tire down being mentioned - we are talking emergency situation in that comment.

And ya the manual tire drop and jack lift do take longer than the lug nuts.

Some have said to add a drill adapter for the scissor jack and keep a small drill in their Maverick to make life easier when using the scissor jack.
