So my 2025 lariat with the black appearance package has 225/55-19” all season tires (never really been a fan of those rims) but the spare tire they give me is a 215/60-17” that is considerably shorter.
I just got a nice set of 17” Bronco Rims with Blizzack snow tires that are 225/65-17”

Now I just need to get rid of my 19” BAP rims for 17” XLT rims with a decent truck tire.
Then matching spares for each set. Never a shortage of upgrades!

That would be sweet to have a matching spare for both sets, but I've heard a real full size doesn't fit. That's something to try before you switch into the winters. What about the lug nuts? Do you have to upgrade them for the Bronco/blizzack set? You could probably trade your BAP wheels for XLTs.

After seeing what a hassle it is getting the spare tire from under the truck i now keep it in the bed. That may change when i start pulling a Safari Condo trailer.
Existing lug nuts will do for the Bronco rims. Hopefully i will start to see some XLT rims now that the colder weather is approaching.

When I first got my 03 XLT, I had a blowout and had to change the spare. It sucked mostly due to my left knee replacement prevented me getting up and down. The ford jack also sucked getting the 19” BAP wheel off. I immediately got a new Continental 19” and ordered a set of 5 spoke rims and Michelin snows. One rests in the bed along with a low profile racing jack, all strapped down. Heck with the spare.

I just swapped out my 'All Seasons' tires for 'All Weather's, and put one of the 'All Seasons' tires on a steel rim to act as a spare. It sits (chained) in the bed. I plan to make a box to cover it, and rig it so I can still carry 8-foot planks with the tailgate at 45 deg. Gonna look into your racing jack idea when I get a chance.

While checking my collection of tire chains the other day to see if I had any that would fit the Mav, I was surprised to find that the Mav tires are "bigger" than the tires on my Transit(not Connect) T250.

225/65-17 on the Maverick, 235/65-16 on the T250 (T250 tires are 10-ply, though, 80psi)

Anyway, I had a new set that fit the Maverick, I even test-fit them to make sure; better than doing it laying in the slush and struggling just to find out they don't fit. For whatever reason, NEW chains are always on the shelves at Goodwill/etc. here for $5-10. People buy them and then never need to use them, so they get donated at some point. I need to weed out the sets that don't fit anything I currently own. I just need a set for the Mav and the Transit(not Connect). Goodwill is about to get another 2-3 sets of chains.

You might want to reconsider this as to access the spare from under the truck, you will have to disconnect from the trailer.
