I have a, new to me, 2022 Lariat Hybrid. 16k miles. Previously one owner. Older couple.
This vehicle sits lower than any Maverick I’ve seen, except one, I saw at a distance.
The previous owner did not do anything to it, since new, except for routine services.
What do you think?
Did this model sit lower?

Nope. Only models that sit differently are the Tremor with its one inch taller set up. Don’t know about the FX4 package.
Park it next to another and compare.
Was it possibly lowered ?

Looks lowered but still has the factory rake.
Most that lower take out the rake.

Lower profile tires ?
Your Lariat Looks Suweet :D

There's 2 models that sit different.. Tremor taller, Lobo Lower.

And that's not Lobo Low, but that does look like a lowered Lariat. To my eye (in that photo) it looks like different springs were added.

Definitely looks low. But those are not the original tyres/rims. Look at the size of the tyre against Ford specs.
Yep your right, I didn't notice that one previously. Those are not factory Lariat wheels/tires. The wheels and tires have definitely been swapped from a lower trim level truck and I wouldn't rule out it being lowered a little. The previous owner or dealer have done some swapping around.

Those were the optional Lariat wheeIs, aka the penis wheeIs. I can just make out Michelin on the tire too so I am assuming they are stock as well.

Perhaps the fact that those are not factor tires and wheels.
Or congratulations on your photoshop skills.

Do you have a tape measure handy? The distance from the bottom corner of the metal body panel at the rear door of my Maverick to the garage floor is 19 1/2", and the distance measured from the panel at the front door is 14 1/2". I picked specific corner points to measure from as opposed to "somewhere beneath the rocker panel."

I've got an XL Hybrid with a quarter tank of gas and no dead bodies in the bed. My Blizzak snow tires may add 1/8" of ground clearance compared to the summer tires.

There are times my truck seems lower and times it seems higher. But that definitely looks lower than normal.

First thought was maybe they overloaded it too much but the front looks equally low. Perhaps their son "took it for an oil change" and did some mods without them knowing?

I would suggest using the edges of the fenders to narrow down the margin of error.

Side story: I was measuring clearances a couple months ago and found my truck is "twisted". The back left and front right are higher than the opposite sides. I think it was only 1/4-1/2".

From the angle of that photo, yes. I'm judging based on the center line of the front wheel in relation to the side of the vehicle, and from the distance from the splash guard on the bumper cover to the ground.

The centerline of the wheels on regular Mavericks seems to be inline with the body line where the plastic rocker panel trim and the painted side of the doors meet. Yours looks like the centerline of the wheels is clearly above that, leading to a lower ride height.

Ah, that explains why my truck is always on the bump stops!
