I checked some time back (called the company) and they told me the Sirius adapter was "In the Works" for the Mav... Just checked vaistech.com and they now show the unit is compatable with Maverick. Anyone have one and can share the results? $350 is a bit pricey without some reviews and confirmation that is works. But, I'd love to have the Sat radio in the Mav XLT.
Thanks

There is a much cheaper alternative if you already have Sirius XM in another vehicle. Spend $5 per month to get Sirius on your cell phone. Then plug your cell phone into your XL or XLT. Select Sirius on your cell phone and you have Sirius on your Mav. (Did I leave any step out?)

I don’t pay the extra $5, Sirius is free on my cell by virtue of my other Sirius car subscriptions...

Better yet, get the wireless adapter for Apple CarPlay.

I need Sirius XM as satellite radio. When you are driving from one city to another mobile internet is not stable. But I will not pay 350 for the device. Sirius was only in the Lariat luxury package in 2022.

There could be inherent safety issues using this method, if you frequently change between stations on Sirius. The phone option is not like the system installed in the vehicles' audio system. In essence, you have to use your phone to change stations. And, if you do that while you are driving, that is akin to texting and driving, unless you passenger is handling the task.

If you have an iPhone the Sirius/app can be used via carplay. Might have some limited functionality but most things could be done from touchscreen

With the cell phone option, select the stations you usually listed to as "favorites" and they will all be ready for your to select on the Maverick's touch screen. Easy!

I had SiriusXM in my Ecosport I traded in. I haven't had any issues using Sirius in my Maverick using the app on my phone and bluetooth to the truck. Hey, I got it down to $4.00+ taxes a month for the phone (truck) and stream at work all day on the web.
