last night for the first time i had that stange shudder everyone is talking about

the vibration was pretty intense, so it's true, it is like driving very slowly like 5 mph on rumble strip.. except there is no strip.
in my case i was turning right slightly up hill with a good brake pressure while turning.
the vibrations occurred 2 sec AFTER releasing the brake pedal. I repeat, i wasn't pressing the brake pedal when it vibrated.
the vibrations were quite strong. Almost like like a big earth quake..and it lasted about 2 sec.

so i parked the car immediately. No problem while parking.. i Checked the hand brake. I went ahead and changed the mode from normal to eco and back to normal.

everything seems to be working. No vibration.

So i just hit the road again.. while driving i noticed the red anti skid light was on. That light is located on the odometer.. (is it the abs, i not sure, i had so many cars). so I said to myself, maybe that light has always been there…and i never really paid attention.
i wasn't sure at the time

when i reached my destination, the red anti skid light went away. So now im pretty sure that light was not supposed to light.

i don't have time to go to the dealer, and i don't think i can reproduce the vibration.

but sharring . No i will not give out my vin. I,d like people to post how the dealer fixed it.

Sounds like a brake or ABS issue. Good luck getting this resolved ASAP. Only a guess, I don't have a hybrid but do have a 2023 hybrid on order.

Was your engine running at the time? I'm not a mechanic but I'm curious if the electric engine and the ICE were both trying to turn the transmission at the same time and that is what was causing the rattle. Changing the drive mode changes how the vehicle changes gears so it might have cleared up any confusion within the computer, thus the rattle went away.

Still should be looked at.

I find Ford's personal contact and care very reassuring. This shows much effort to be sure the product will be safe and reliable, as intended. I appreciate the efforts to resolve any issues especially since I am awaiting my 2023 XLT Hybrid build. Keep up the good work. Make them fast and make them right.
