oh yeah, I visit that site about once a day lol. In the past I feel like I've gotten more 'up to date' info from the chat agent over the order tracking site. The chat agent usually gives me a smaller ETA window, but that hasn't really proven much lol. Unfortunately the 'last updated' hasn't changed in a while, but every week the ETA window moves further and further out.

I hate to ask this, but can you tell if my Mav is on a truck to the dealer? My 50th is 3/3 and my ETA is 3/3-3/9. What a nice gift it would be to get my new truck on my bday.

It has changed so many times over the last 5-6 weeks, hard to remember the first ETA . My first "Your vehicle has shipped!" email came on 1/30 and the ETA was 1/29 - 2/4 lol. Then every 5-7 days, the ETA on the tracking site would shift up by a week or two. (currently says 2/24 - 3/9).

It actually left Mexico 1/29, and I religiously tracked it via the rail car number and the UP automated phone system all the way until it was unloaded in Westfield Texas on 2/9. It then sat in that train yard for nearly 3 weeks before it finally got on a transporter 3 days ago, and made its way to the dealership last night.

The real kicker is - last night at 7pm I got the "Your 2023 Maverick XLT Order" email from Ford and assumed it was going to be the Final Preparation email, only to be sadly disappointed that It was just an email saying that the ETA on my vehicle had updated to 2/27 - 3/5

Everyone has different experiences with shipping just depending on their location - it really just comes down to the availability of truck drivers that can take on the transporter job. I've heard of some people here that had their truck get unloaded from the train and onto a transporter the same day, while others had theirs sit for days/weeks.

"days/weeks"/months. Last night a manager at Long McArthur Ford said his vehicle sat for 4 months at the drop point before getting loaded on a truck and that the dealership owner had one of his sit for 9 months. They said they nor Ford had any power to get them out sooner.

man that sure would kill my spirit to have the truck sit in the yard for months on end. Knowing that it is built and ready to drive, but just sitting around only a few hours away for months. I suppose I should feel lucky that my 3 week stint was just that.
