You need to get the rail car number from Ford CS or your dealer. RA2L is just your ramp code which is where the train will ultimately stop before it loads on a truck to the dealer.

I just tried the Chat to get a railcar number from Skadizzle...but I had a chat agent that was copy & pasting/not giving actual info. And maybe there's no info to give, who knows!

Some agents will give you the rail car number. That’s how I got mine. I’m near Frederick, MD and my dealer is in Winchester VA. About 30 minutes from me.

Have you guys had any luck getting any tracking info on the car carrier from ford chat? is that something that can be tracked?

My truck has been sitting in the rail yard for 3 weeks, but yesterday when I chatted with ford chat, they told me 'your truck is in transit to your dealer'. I asked again to make sure it wasn't the generic 'in transit' and they said it is heading to the dealer.

I've waited this long, I'm sure I can wait a few more days until it actually shows up; but if there was a way to track the car carrier I would be interested. The trip from the trainyard to dealer is about ~250 miles.

If it's on a transporter your dealer should be able to tell you what's going on.

no word from the dealer, and the chat agent this morning now says no ETA, still on a ramp in Texas one of them is wrong, and I'm hoping it was the agent today lol

This is of little help, as it doesn't seem to change. But if you enter your VIN (refresh the web page until you see the Capcha box...it isn't always there). Then you can at least see the destination as correct.

I thought it would change once on the way or delivered, but alas, it does not. Someone posted a vehicle with a window sticker that they had already received and sold the truck months ago...and it is still in their system. Must be the same folks managing Ford's ineffective tracking.
