I have a 2025. less than 7,000 miles. Gas only. When at 1,000 to 1500 rpm’s and cruising at almost 40 mph I get a noticeable shake and rumble in the steering wheel and seat. I can hear it and feel it. Have to be cruising and just touching the gas. Not accelerating.
starting to hear and feel it at higher cruising speeds.
it all reminds me of my standard shift when in a high gear at low speed.
any ideas?

1. How did you already get 7k miles on your 2025???? That's impressive!

2. How do you know what RPM you are at in the Hybrid without a tachometer?

Sounds like a wheel is unbalanced or loose.

Might want to update your vehicle description on your profile for 25MY & trim level & FWD/AWD to make things easier down the road - it matters on many things.

How cold where you are at?
Is this effect thru a whole longer ride, or only beginning or end?
Did you have snow depth enough to get into rims, and some warmer temps for melting, but cold enough to refreeze?

And forget CV axles - they won't show up 1st on easy cruising speeds unless you are totally ignoring corners for awhile and then acceleration effects.

For sure update your Profile then, with correct Vehicle list.

Because when you start the post out with 2025, it's going to be confusing.
You can edit your own post - which you should do.

Wheel balance, unless you've been noticing shudders and bad noise on corners, and go off-roading as part of that low 7K miles.
Wouldn't know if you do though, since no trim level described.

I am in NJ. Shore area. No snow of any concerns.
It is a 2024 all wheel drive.
@ET bagel

you will want to change your profile. You say in your profile that you are a HYBRID and 2.5L Hybrid. If you are an Ecoboost it is a Way Different Animal than the HYBRID.

I know he already corrected it and stated it's a 2024, but I guess you could have a 2025 with 250 mi on it and "technically" that's less than 7k. 😂.

Having a shake at 40mph between 1000-1500rpm is completely NORMAL. You are lugging a 2.0L engine, pushing 3700lbs at 40mph. My Evo used to do this pretty bad if I shifted to 5th gear under 30mph. You are just loading the vehicle too much. My recommendation is to give the gas pedal a little tip in to make it downshift to a more suitable gear.

If that ends up not being your issue, my guess would be an axle issue, as many have had similar problems, but usually under acceleration.

How long for transmission shift points to be learned - in case this is normal driving style/scenario?
Or perhaps it thinks it's just fine to be lugging and leaves it alone?

My 23 ecb does the same thing. Engine lugging like the tranny wants to downshift but doesn't. It doesn't make the seat shake though.

You are simply lugging the engine in a high gear. Normal. Just give it a tad more gas so it downshifts, or put it in sport mode if you have it. Personally, I embrace it knowing the little turbo can chug along and make enough torque and power to get up an hill at 1400rpm. Lugging an engine is actually where it achieves the greatest fuel efficiency.

I agree. It doesn't bother me and I kinda like that it's not constantly shifting up and down just to keep a steady speed.
