I'm most likely the oldest on the forum at 79. I drove off the lot on 1/6/22 and have put on a whopping 1,800 miles so far. It's a wonderful truck and my only regret is it's come 20 years late for me!

I'm 69, traded my 2008 Corvette and 2012 Hyundai Elantra for my 2023 XLT Area 51. Don't worry, I still have a 1014 Vette as well as a project motorcycle! (xs560 chopper)

Motorcycles and age don’t go well together. Years ago, a 50-something CEO I worked for had to have and bought a Harley. Mid-life crisis. He laid it down almost immediately. Broken foot, only damage fortunately.

Age means slowing reflexes. Drove a cycle all over Malaysia in 1970-72. What fun. And cheap transportation while I was in the Peace Corps. At 75 today, I wouldn’t get near a cycle.

But love my Mav XLT hybrid.

Still don't have a VIN.
I'd like to think I have enough time left to enjoy the truck.

I see mostly olds in Mavericks here. 1 old lady in a cyber orange. It was parked in front of a bank. I had to wait to see the owner walk out. I was thinking, no way a old person driving that truck. Sure enough little ol lady walked out and got in it.

I’m 72 and after waiting one year and 9 months I finally got my 23 cyber orange lariat hybrid. I saved up and paid cash so it’s my truck! Hubby didn’t think he’d like it but he’s coming around. He’s always had larger trucks but this one is perfect for me and I’m loving the gas mileage.

70 here. I bought my 22 XLT EB Lux AWD the same day I started looking for one (10/21/21). It was on the dealer lot, having just been refused because the wife of the guy who ordered it decided she didn't like Velocity Blue. Paid MSRP with no gimmicks or add-ons while other folks were calling the dealership about it.

The Maverick replaced a paid-off 2014 Wrangler Rubicon and a 1969 Corvette so there was no financing needed. It recently turned over 10K miles.

For fun, there's the 1993 Lightning and the 1968 Cougar XR-7 GT. We gave up the motorcycles when we started our family, planning to go back when the kids were old enough to not need us but then cell phones and distracted drivers put that plan to bed.

Nope, just an old guy who first ordered in June of 21 at 4% below invoice and one a year later at 3k under MSRP but had to travel to PA and IA collect. Sold one for 10k profit to a GM dealer so didn't feel too guilty since he just marked up up anther 3k and sold it.
One more I ordered locally in 21 but was at MSRP so I let a friend buy it and he was a happy camper. I guess the early bird still gets the worm.

Wow! With a winning streak like that, I'd be in Vegas every night.

Forgot to add I just got it 9-21-23 and now have 500 miles. Added spray on bed liner and bed cover and replaced the mirror with one with garage door buttons. Was really surprised it didn’t come with that kind of mirror after buying top of the line truck.

74 here. I was a bit younger when I ordered my Mav in November 2021. That order had a VIN# and build date and was then cancelled by FORD. Finally got my Lariat Lux April 1 this year - has 2,000 miles on it. Replaced a Transit Connect to get a hybrid. Also have a 2020 Fusion hybrid. For fun, I have this:
