I had this same problem, of a slight vibration at lower speeds and lower RPM. I switched to premium fuel and the problem has been solved. It took about two tank fulls to clean it up. Expensive fix but it worked.

My 2.0 AWD does the same thing between 1500 and 2000 RPM in normal and eco mode. It is a steady vibration felt in the steering wheel under light acceleration. It appears to be ok in sport mode.

I have a Lariat also, and the mirror button controls are exactly as bbhaag said. the two bottom buttons select left or right. The top buttons lock out the rear windows.
