That tonneau/topper is slick! I imagine the canvas could have some issues if saturated with water, and eventually maybe some UV breakdown. Still a great idea for extra versatility!

Not sure, but maybe Ford should integrate that as a standard offering. It might mitigate the parasitic draw issues and resultant depleted battery concerns. I could see why it was paired with the Leer retractable tonneau as it is a high drain option.

I would of also like to see what the cover looks like sitting inside of the truck as you look out the back window, It reminds me of an old vehicle I had back in 1989 called an Isuzu amigo it had about the same type of top which folded up, it was a good vehicle in the snow but had a crappy engine, blew a head gasket twice on it, even before 90000 miles, got rid of it after the second time. But I did like that soft top design .

I believe the 3 Mavs at the 2023 show were also at the 2022 show (just reconfigured).
The carb gray with solar was a Ford/Leer thing... but see thread from last year for info:

Agree with that.
-HOWEVER-
I'd say yes to the tailgate thingy if it was straight across the bottom.
Even though it would cover the MAVERICK letters, I think it would look so much better.
