I have a few things I want to do to my truck but I don’t if they are possible, so I’m opening the floor to anyone who has knowledge or experience.
1) would like to swap out my rearview mirror for a powered on that has garage door opener buttons, ideally a plug & play setup.
2) I want to either update my Sync3 to a Sync4, or change my 8” screen for the Sync3 to the larger 12” screen.
3) if unable to upgrade to the Sync4, I want to find the best wireless dongle CarPlay.
4) is it possible to replace my powered side view mirrors to ones that will fold-in via power with a simple plug & play replacement?
5) I have the review camera when backing up with ideally prefer the 360 degree view. If not possible then I want a 170 degree front bumper camera with parking sensors that are a plug & play.
All in all, I don’t want to void any of my trucks warranties which means no splicing, which is why I’m looking for plug & plays as the go to options. I have a few other things I’m looking at doing but these five items are the ones that involve power/electrical. The others will be simple DYI installs.
