Running Speaker Wire From Doors to Dash Tweeters

I installed a set of Morel components and chose to mount on the sail trim piece instead of the dash. Much easier install and sounds great. Just test fit and measure/mark/drill with the door closed to ensure the fit.

That does seem like a logical place for installation. What did you do for wiring and crossover? I'm in the middle of of installing the same speakers and am undecided if I'll put them in the same place as the originals and don't know if I should use the provided crossover or just use the wires supplied in the dash. Any guidance on that would be appreciated.

There’s a spot in the door panel (indention on left side) where you can mount the crossover perfectly. Just make sure your screws are short enough they don’t touch the window behind it.

I know this is an old post but how did you wire these tweeters? I'm wanting to try to mount a pair of Hertz Tweeters on axis with the stock pod that came with the tweeters, but I'm bi-amping off a Kicker Key so I'll need to run new wire to this location. Did you run wire through the door hinge cable bundle?
