The competition from Toyota will be good for Ford. The fender flares in the images of the Toyota are way over the top. The CVT in the Mav hybrid is a Toyota unit. I have a 2023 Lariat hybrid on order which, as noted above in another post, may not come until MY 2024.

yes and if you click on the link the picture there looks like a Santa Cruz. Toyota is having the same issues as other auto makers. My daughter is waiting on a Corolla Hybrid and they cannot give her a date either.

Agree with the guy who said Mav has carved out a niche, but the issue of course is going to be if they can sustain it. Jack the XLT or Lariat price up much more and suddenly the truck no longer makes sense for some people ... putting out that kinda money, why not buy a bigger truck? I know for some of us the combination of small size and all price is ideal, but I'd take the sure bet that Ford's gonna keep up these yearly or twice yearly price increases and kill their own market.
