Look at it this way. A fiery, red hot cat will likely keep the cat thieves away.

The actual poll selections are confusing as I almost selected: "Yes I have a Hybrid"So as of the time I'm writing this, there have been 9 Hybrid owners who have reportedly had this issue and 18 who have not. That's an issue with 33% of Hybrid owners, (if I'm doing my elementary school math correctly.) Granted, it's a tiny sample and I hope more owners chime in, but it's a concerning problem nonetheless. I hope Ford addresses it soon.
Sorry if that confused you. The question was "Have you been affected by the rough idling and glowing hot catalytic converter issue?" and the choices below. Maybe parenthese would help? I'll add that. The actual poll selections are confusing as I almost selected: "Yes I have a Hybrid"
I then saw the second selection "No I have a Hybrid"
I literally had to stop and think what the meaning of the selections were
The selections should READ as the following to remove the confusion:
Yes I have a Hybrid and a glowing CAT
and
Yes I have a Hybrid and do not have these issues
I wonder how many selected the first on because they have a Hybrid but don't have this issue?
The problem is that the poll selection is missing some grammar:Sorry if that confused you. The question was "Have you been affected by the rough idling and glowing hot catalytic converter issue?" and the choices below.
I used a period. I'm sorry. The problem is that the poll selection is missing some grammar:
"Yes and I have a Hybrid" vs "Yes. I have a Hybrid"
and
"No and I have a Hybrid" vs "No. I have a Hybrid"
Missing the "and" and having the period after Yes. and No. in the poll questions is where the confusion come from.
I still remember "Let's eat Grandma!" from grade school
Let’s Eat Grandma?
“Let’s eat Grandma!” and “Let’s eat, Grandma!” are two completely different sentences. The first implies that we actually going to eat grandma; the latter implies we are telling Grandma the food is ready to eat.
- Meaning and Clarity. Forgetting a comma can cause some grave complications.
