Using the skid as a theft deterrent is actually a great idea!

While we won’t be supplying them with anti tamper bolts, the specifications for every bolt will be in the installation manual. If the end user wants to use the skid plate as a theft guard I’m sure those bolts can be sourced online.

Thanks for the input

Not sure why these are needed unless it's if you off road your Maverick. 1/4 inch aluminum is heavy better come with a better mounting other than those T27 screws the have holding stock one on
That is self-evident isn't it? Does any vehicle need a skid plate if it isn't off-roaded?

I like having skid plates as a deterrent to road debris. I like having "not too aggressive" A/T tires for the pot holes. Our roads are lousy up here to the point where missing persons have been found in them from time to time.

Absolutely. The conditions of city streets these days are enough to make you think your in a 3rd world. You don't need to be going off road to traverse hazzards.

Great we have these options now. But someone needs to start selling an upgraded rear bumper.

That and a front replacement for us that don't have a tremor
That requires a lot of work to move brackets and other parts around behind it. Doesn't seem practical for most.

@RIVAL 4x4 any chance you have an ETA on the longer skid plates for the felt panels? Will these require drilling into the body? Any weights you can share yet?

Thanks for continuing to provide options for the Mavericks!

We have all the scans we need to make aluminum replacements for those felt panels. Our goal has always been to supply a direct bolt on product. It is very unlikely that anything we come up with will require irreversible modifications to the body of the vehicle.

At this point I don’t have an ETA or any specifications as they are still in the design phase.

Thanks!

Converter theft is probably a greater threat to most than off-road damage. A reference to tamper-proof bolts in the installation instructions would be helpful.
