Seems all my values reset every time I refuel. I always have trip 1 displayed. I fill up and it reads reset all values. I only want to reset trip 1 odometer. Why does it say all values. I read my manual and still not sure if I am doing it correctly. I would like to keep trip 2 as my lifetime mpg since owning my Maverick. How do you reset your 1 trip meter while leaving the other one unchanged. Thanks. By the way I have a 2023 Hybrid.

I'm thinking it should only reset the trip you have displayed, in my case I have used trip 1 as lifetime mpg & it has never reset since new, I occasionally reset trip 2 for longer trips, & when I reset it, it only resets trip 2. I reset it by holding down the ok button until it resets & this only resets displayed trip, if you go into the menu & reset all values, it sounds like it's resetting everything. So just try not going into any menu & holding the ok button down when the trip you want to reset is displayed & see if this works for you.

Same here as @Grabber Rick - while showing Trip 1 and holding the OK button on the steering wheel down, you'll see a small bar at the bottom of the Trip 1 window take a couple seconds or so to scroll right, then it resets to zero. After that you can let up on the OK button. Trip 2 stays where it was.

Grabber Rick, mine does the same.
I thought since I never put any miles on trip 2, only trip one needs to be reset, so it doesn't give you a chance to reset a trip with 0 miles on it?

I have a 2023 Hybrid and I always leave it on trip one. When I refuel I push the button and all it ever says is push ok to reset all values. I have accidentally hit the reset button when scrolling the menu button. I realize I don't want to reset it so I go back to the trip display. I will have to look at it again on my next fill up.

I think both trip meters shows the same miles as you drive. Reseting one should leave the other one to keep adding up on the miles. The fuel mileage average should remain on the one as overall average mileage for total miles driven.

Other threads have pointed out that trip 1 &2 roll over at 10k miles. So life long average is not possible. It will calculate up to 10k miles.
I only have a little over 8,000 miles on my truck and it is always on trip one display. My trip two should read the same as my odometer. Last time I looked it didn't show the same as my odometer. I have never pressed reset on trip 2 only trip one. Like I said it shows reset all values. I can't see any other way to reset just miles. Always states all values.

The total trip mileage rolls over, as there's not another digit. As far as I can tell the mpg doesn't reset.

Mine shows 2,039 miles for trip 2, really 42,039(reset trip 2 at 15 miles on truck )

Unless I've gotten 7,941 electric miles over the last 2,039 miles.

I have the Ecoboost but I just change Trip 1, as I like to keep Trip 2 for lifetime as well. When I fill up I put it in Trip 1 & hold down to reset.

My guess is that the statement “all values” pertains to Trip 1 only. I reset each tip I gas up and also do a reset on Trip 1. The system never resets Trip 2, unless of course Trip 2 is displayed.

MIne has not reset in a little over 20K. There is probably a setting for this too.

Dan,
Did you mean you haven't reset it in 20k?
If your trip odometer shows 20k or more. Can you please post a picture of it?
My 23 XLT rolled over at 10,000 miles and started over.

🤓 I bought my 2022 Maverick back in November 2021, I have never seen a trip 2 meter.

Only the trip odometer shown will count miles driven.
When the trip odometer rolls over it does not reset the MPG display.

That's what I have been doing with mine 😁
