I told them not to install the front license plate. I called and sent them an email. I should have been waiting outside the dealer for the transport truck.

Went to pick up my truck and sure enough the front license plate holder was installed. My head started to spin. I asked the sales person what happened and he gave me a crazy stupid answer.

I decided to keep calm and not get my self angry before I signed the papers. I’ll live with the front bracket even though I wanted to install a removable one.

There is no way I will recommend the salesperson or dealer.
The truck is fantastic.

I didn't think of it, but in Ohio we've done away with the front plates, so I just expected not to even ask about it. Luckily it's such a big deal now to not have a front plate that the Ohio dealerships are just not putting them on.

I only have a small rectangular badge on my tailgate below the hybrid badge for the dealers name and its just one word, no big logo, etc. So I'll live with it.

My dealer honored my no front license plate bracket and no dealer badge on the rear. I of course was happy to keep their dealer license plate frame, because I just really appreciate that they listened and honored it.

No front license plate on mine as my state doesn't require it. However, they did put a damn decal on the back glass and a metal stick-on on the tailgate. Both those will be coming off. I have a temp tag frame with their info on it. I will keep that on it till my permanent license plate comes in.

I had a 3D stick-on plastic badge on the tailgate. A couple of minutes with careful use of a hair dryer and it came right off. Didn't even need to use the dental floss I had available. Now, it may have come off this easily because I took it off within a day of taking possession of the truck. I also bought a pair of cheap black license plate frames and chucked the advertising frames that came pre-mounted.

Could you possibly take pics and post? I would like to see your idea played out so maybe I can steal it?
I just watched a you tube on thiscand the front license plate holder had nothing drilled into the black. In fact, it was a holder that curved at the top of the bumper, hugging the top portion, drilled with 2 screws there and two plastic rivets lower down. It didn't touch the black portion.
