Preventing front license plate install?

I'm gonna inform them I won't stand for their advertising logo on my Maverick either. They can give me a license plate holder (rear only) with their name on it, but that is all.....I will say please.

One of the first things I do is remove any dealer badging, stickons and license plate covers. The don't pay me to advertise.

Florida doesn't require tags on the front, so it never dawned on me to ask (tell) them to not drill any holes. It's never happened on any car I've bought here. I did ask them to not put a decal of the dealership on. I don't feel the need to advertise for them since they're not paying for the service. They had no problem with that request. And thank goodness it seems no one uses the metal ones riveted to the vehicle anymore.

I just took delivery of a new 25 Mav from Florida to Texas. And sure enough no mounting bracket was included and no holes drilled. Texas does require both plates.

I brought my 2022 from Indiana, back to Wisconsin...
Added the bracket myself..
*** Drill the "HOLEs" a little smaller than your plate screws.. There is NO Metal behind the bumper to screw into, just the polyurethane bumper body itself..
SOOOO, Don't OVER TIGHTEN them...

My Front license plate holder was mounted before I ever laid eyes on my Lariat. I put my Florida State Seminole tag up there.
The metal Ford dealer tag they put on the front is still taking .22 cal pellets fifty yards out from my back door. It’s got all these tight little groups all in each letter.
It’s a PCP thing.
I rubbed off the white dealer sticker on the tailgate with my fingers the day I got it home, took five minutes.

No big deal.

I charge $100 a month per square inch of truck surface for dealer advertising.
Odd though, they won’t pay me so screw em’

I’m quite the ass, the little windshield sticker for reminding me of my next oil change they keep sticking on at the top driver side corner, AFTER I tell them to not do that !
Every service they stick a new one on, Every time I peel it off and stick it on the service bay customer entrance door, before I leave of course.

NJ requires both. Front wasn't installed when I bought it. My dealer asked if I wanted them to add the front bracket or do it myself wink wink. I thought about not putting it on or rigging a bracket from the lower grille but decided to let them install it properly. I don't mind it.
