Remote start useless for Hybrid

I’ve tried it with FordPass app a couple of times, hasn’t worked yet, was just trying, so haven’t researched why nogo.

Mine works every time, from anywhere. Update: even worked while on vacation In Mexico!

Have you checked with the dealer? There "might" be one which works for 2025. I couldn't find it, but the extra fob is listed as compatible with 2025.

You do have your have service on your devices and the truck needs the availability to connect to wifi. It has failed me in the mountains with snow, the desert in the rain, and at the beach when its had really bad fog. The app also doesn't work when the truck goes in to deep sleep.

The perimeter security plus and the regular factory key fobs haven't failed yet. The key fob also works in deep sleep, it not part of the app.

Start - lock unlock lock
Turn off - unlock lock unlock

I bought the perimeter security plus to have my fob on my XL and XLT be able you do it. The app is useless with no service or wifi for the truck.

Why would use use it differently for EB vs hybrid? The pupose is cabin temp. Engines don't need to warm up any more.

The gas motor runs the heat for cabin temp.

The hybrid battery will run the A/C for 1 to 5 minutes only. The battery drains fast. Then the gas engine will start.
