Yup. Hate that app. It's great for people who are at a distance from their vehicle and such, like in an apt. building or something, but luckily that's not me. I point the remote out the window and the sewing machine kicks on.

Pretty shocking too how some companies want to charge you to use it, even if you pay for remote start.
*cough "TOYOTA!"
I personally have one single $10 "subscription" and I aim to keep it that way. Bad enough internet is over $100 for Starlink where I live.
I agree. The younger generation pretty much are fee'd to death with all these apps & subscriptions. They really start to add up, but they seem to think nothing of fees.

One good thing about Starlink for out-in-da-boonies folk is that Wi-Fi calling works great on it, too. No lag like the old-school satellite internet had. And it allows one to drop their mobile data plan down to a much cheaper tier.

@Montana, it's funny how city folk assume there is fiber internet and/or cell service available everywhere, isn't it?

what does this plug into? Is it the same socket that the Autostop eliminator uses? If so has anyone added both? I have the Autostop eliminator and don't want to lose this function.

This doesn’t work for hybrids correct? Product details says not for hybrids but was hoping for some confirmation one way or the other….
Yes I use the app a lot now but would like it on the fob.
I use the free ford app to start my hybrid 2.5 xl and lock/unlock doors. Its free, but you need a smart phone for the app, unlike using a fob alone with the pricey auto start option.

I would love to see the percentage of people on this forum who does not have a smart phone, I use my Ford App daily to start my truck.
