Except the scenario you're describing is highly unlikely. For safety reasons the 12V system and HV system are pretty rigorously separated. It would take multiple serious failures such as loss of HV positive isolation, loss of HV ground isolation, that short somehow not blowing the HV fuse, and the HV contactor welding itself closed for the HV circuit voltage to be presenting itself on the LV bus bars like you're proposing.

Its a point everything ties together. There is a definite leak to ground across EACH cell of a battery pack. Its a very low amperage controlled by the BMS when the battery pack is at rest.
Again its just a guess, but that is a very telling voltage and likely this as I stated or the BMS brains likely controls BOTH systems and for some miswiring of the share BMS. You have to get like 80 tiny wires in the correct order to properly protect a string of cells. And the added programming for 12v may be faulting to 3.6v

Anything is possible. But now I have the wiring diagram. All 2113 pages of it. :)
Will be digging into that tonight. For now, we are still on the road. Driving to Phoenix.

Time for an update.
The truck sat at Borman Ford in Las Cruces, NM for a week without even looked at. My guy from Customer Experience Specialist/Dealer Experience Specialist, Ford CX/DX Team (short my Guy), arranged for a transfer to Viva Ford in El Paso, TX. Monday they were able to look at it. They jumped it and the truck was running. They determined it was the battery. I got that exchanged under warranty. Jumping was the first thing I tried with no luck. I guess I need a bigger jump starter with more umph lol. I have never seen a drop to less than 9 volts on a bad battery though. Learned something new. Anyhow, after a 2-week wait, I was able to pick the truck up. That was a 27-hour round-trip drive from Las Vegas for me. After picking it up I stopped for gas on my way and it started right up. No issue, feels great. Decided to stop after about 320 miles, and the truck dies. The battery was empty. This time I used my jumper cables and some nice guy gave me a jump. Wroom wroom lol. So I did the other 350 miles without turning the truck off. Parked it in front of the RV so I would be able to jump it if needed. And the truck was dead again upon turning it off. So I put it on the charger overnight. Guess who was alive in the morning. Emailed "my guy" and sent a text to the service rep at Viva Ford. Dead silence on their part now. Go figure. Why the heck is the battery not charging? In ET mode it shows the battery @ 13.1 Volts and 14.6 Volts when the ICE is running.
To be continued............
Maybe one of the Ford Guys can chime in here.

The last update.
After adding brake issues to the mix, and drooping it off at yet another dealership, Larry was crashed by one of the techs. They think it might be totaled. We should know more in the first week of June. We are moving on to a 4x4 Ranger.

A FE too! I know accidents happen but I would be beyond enraged. The damage doesn't look all that bad so hopefully not totalled. Considering they should be footing the bills I'd insist on a full repir not matter what the insurance companies think.

Sorry, I am done with the Maverick.
The dealer is hoping that they don't total it. They are willing to give us 35k for it. And that's precisely what a new Ranger would cost us.
Plus! We are traveling and have to be in South Dacota for 4th of July. They will never have that repaired on time. New truck, done and over with it.

UGH sorry to hear about the hassles- glad they're at a resolution point? I'd make sure they pony up to get the extra stuff paid for too!!!! Plus all the inconvenience you've dealt with.

That's fair enough for sure.
