I have a cheap amazon hard tri fold and this is correct. If you need the last panel opened you need to remove the entire thing which is extremely easy. From looking even though i have no truck there about 500 for tri fold hard BUT none of those fold up the last panel open. Amazon has some.
Same reason I went with a soft cover. Would need one that sits up, then I don't like the idea of it blocking the window, and the cost on these is too much for me to justify.Yeah that was one of the main reasons I ultimately passed on the hard trifold. That and seeing how small the bed actually is. To get one that folds all the way up you need to spend $800-900 and that's with a discount. Unless you live in Canada. Then there is Bison for about $600
Good question about room with each panel open. I would like that info too.Same reason I went with a soft cover. Would need one that sits up, then I don't like the idea of it blocking the window, and the cost on these is too much for me to justify.
Anyone know the measurements of the hard tri-fold when open? (One panel open = How many inches to the tailgate? Two panels open= How many inches to the tailgate?
I purchased a TonoPro Hard Folding Truck Bed Tonneau Cover|HTF037|Fits 22 - 23 Ford Maverick 4'6" Bed for $475 plus tax.have had my mav for a year and have been putting off the purchase of a tonneau. can anyone recommend their favorite hard tri cover in the $400 range?
Can you report back on how you like this?I ordered this one from eBay. I put in a low ball offer of $320 and they countered for $375. Total cost after tax was just under $400. It arrives tomorrow.
Just installed it and it was pretty easy to install and it came with a bag of spare parts. Fits pretty well. Wish the metal side rails on the truck were a little more substantial for the clasps to grip to, but feels secure. It's supposed to rain tonight so I can see how well it holds up to water. I didn't install the tailgate gasket that came with it yet.Can you report back on how you like this?
