Bakflip. MX4. Functional best looking and not too hard to install. It’s simply the best. Don’t even think about it. Yes, it’s the most expensive too

My Ford factory trifold is perfect. If I didn't get the factory I would have got a Leer as that is what I got on each of my F150s and the price would have been approximately the same. When I picked up my 2025 Lariat it was all there, no need to go somewhere or do it myself.

After countless searches....I settled on the XCOVER low profile hard tri-fold from Amazon for $600.Ordered it and had it on in less than a week. So far I am very pleased with it. Seems to be of good quality construction and was a very easy install . I compared it to some more pricier and don't see any differences.

I drove to Toronto and paid CDN$575 installed for the Bison flip-up trifold hard cover that I'm very happy with. I can't figure out why the Ford trifold and all the "made in USA" ones (yeah, right - interesting how they look identical to the Chinese ones) cost typically 2x what I paid, and 3x when you add in the currency conversion rate. Americans are getting ripped off.

I agree, I have a Bison trifold and its great. I don't know why most of them are 3x the price.

I bought the Ford Trifold and am very happy with it. Almost no leak with rain or hand washing, but it is hit or miss with the amount of water that gets in when going thru the same car wash...

Ford trifold, which is the BakFlip mx4. Hardly any leaks when going through a touchless car wash. And those are some strong jets.

Question.....Does it make any difference whether you close the tail gate first or the hard tri-fold cover first ?

It does not make a difference on my Bison cover, but maybe other covers are different.

I went with the Ebay $325 hard cover with led lights in the rear section. Pretty pleased with it so far. I like the fact that there are no side rails to deal with and it can be completely removed in less than a minute.
