Received an unexpected Ford email yesterday afternoon...a total shocker!!!

My wife and I just moved to SC last year, last 22 years we lived in Traverse City. Our boys graduated from Elk Rapids, we lived in Williamsburg proper, but I worked in Business Park.

12/7 XLT Lux, moon roof. Finally got email yesterday for 9/19 build date.

Also got the email and was surprised as thought those emails only go out 10 days to 2 weeks before the scheduling week. Vin A951xx., Lariat, Lux, and moonroof. Also in the military.

I just had to go back and add up my military time on my email. I received my email at 16:15 yesterday. I too was surprised. I had just ordered some 3D mats earlier in the day. I checked my phone and saw "Ford..." I didn't think anything at first because I get many emails regarding my "Escape Vehicle Report", but this said XLT. Hmm so it was a very good surprise. But I was moved back from my CS phone call to the 19th. So we are at the same build date. What's your Vin #? Mine is B00079.

My planned exit was either to come back as an officer or not at all. When I tried to reenter before my 3yr inactive service expired enlisted was denied as my injuries caused conversation to go, his not separated excited to oh you have a disability. At the time 20% but after 39 years was accepted 70% . No retro active as previous failed a repel and then gave up after the next rejection and 30 years (over 1 year) lapsed.

As I was sitting on my couch watching a movie with my wife on a rainy Monday afternoon, I received a very unexpected email at 1649 hrs! I was extremely shocked to read the title, and super excited when I opened it up and read it! I was finally notified the hybrid XLT with the lux pkg and CP360 that I ordered on 15 October will go into production on 19 September, of course, unless there's more constraints or delays. I wasn't expecting this notification at all!! What I was expecting was the an email notifying me of more production delays, like so many of you received last week.

There's no information for the window sticker yet. I imagine that will show up in the coming days.

I got the same email late in the afternoon yesterday. Ford customer service had previously told me my scheduled week was Sept 12. This email means another week's delay, but the official notification is what's important.

Regarding Ford's notification: @fordvideoguy -- I thought the next step would be receiving a "build-day" email from Ford about a week ahead of 9/12. This "build-week" email (1 month out) from Ford was totally unexpected.
(I mean, didn't Ford do away with "build-week" emails, and go to a "build-day" notification system?)

Anyway, I am happy to know my First Edition Maverick will finally be headed for Granger Iowa later in September. I'm hoping to be driving it back to Kansas City sometime in October. This will be about 1 year since I placed my order.

I think I better edit my email. I've never been in the military. I meant using military time. The poster I was replying to used military time instead of am / pm time.

If our orders get bumped into October, they will more than likely be a ‘23.

You have a VIN so you’ll be getting a MY22. If anything Ford will push back MY23 production.

Interesting too that when I use my tracker, it only says order confirmed. In production doesn't show a date. but my email indicates "scheduled for production". So many mixed messages. Oh well, it will be built when its built.

You will get an email once it goes into production "Sent to Plant". Usually happen 1-2 weeks before production day "scheduled day".

We live just east of Greenville, northwest SC, 4 hours from the coast. Not having to drive on snow covered roads is nice. In January we had snow storm, dumped 6" here, closed everything down. They only plow the freeways, I was driving people around with my wife's AWD Encore. I traded my F150 in to buy the Maverick.

Got mine too. TBH I had totally accepted that I would end up ordering s 2023 and wait another 6 months. So the email was quite a surprise.

Assuming a 9/19 build week, then how long to get from Mexico to the dealership? I live in CT
